Embeds are live on Dropway. Every deployed site now has a ready-made iframe you can paste into Notion, Linear, a wiki, or any page that accepts embeds. Open Share, copy the snippet, and the site shows up where your team already works.
Why we built this
A Dropway URL is great when you want one link. It is less great when the artifact belongs inside another surface. Specs live in Notion. Bugs live in Linear. Kickoffs live in a wiki. People still open a second tab, lose context, and paste screenshots that go stale the next time you deploy.
We wanted the live site to travel with the conversation. Not a screenshot. Not a zip. The same public site, framed where the work already is, so updates show up without a new attachment.
Copy an embed from Share
On any deployed site, open Share. Set the width and height you want, preview the frame, and copy the iframe snippet. Paste it into Notion, Linear, or any host that allows embeds. That is the whole loop.
The preview is there so you can see the exact crop before you leave Dropway. No guessing whether the hero will clip or the page will look tiny in a side panel.
Public sites only
Embedding serves your site into a frame on another origin. That only works when the site is public. If a site is private, visitors who are not signed in see a Sign in to view placeholder inside the embed. They never get the content through the frame.
Keep password, allowlist, and org-only sites on a normal link when you need access control. Use embeds when you want the artifact to appear inline for anyone who can open the host page.
Remove the badge on paid plans
Embeds include a small Powered by Dropway badge by default. On Pro and above you can turn it off. The entitlement is checked on our servers, so once it is off it stays off wherever the site is framed.
Try it on your next share
Deploy as usual, set the site to public, open Share, and paste the embed into the doc or ticket that needs it. One live frame instead of another stale screenshot.
